Everything is falling into place!
Weird how life has its ups and downs, isn't it? It seems like when it rains it pours! This has been somewhat of a rough year for us, with the miscarriage and all, but things are finally falling into place for us. We are really at peace right now and its crazy how many good things have happened to us in just the past month. It's just funny to me that its always a series of bad things, then a series of good things. I will say, even in our darkest moments, our life is truly blessed!
Okay, some things we have been up to:
We recently gave our kitchen a make-over, and we have twice as much counter space and cabinets! I am soooo thrilled about this! We also resumed our project in our backyard. The summer was a little too hot to be working out back, so its nice to get started once again. We put the retaining wall up last weekend (well, Dave did lol), and now I get to work on my flowerbed. In the months ahead we are going to start on our addition. It is a big project, but it will be worth it once it is finished.
Work has been really good for Dave and me, and we feel blessed that is the case when times are so slow right now.
This year we are really looking forward to the holidays. We are even thinking of having Christmas at our house. Yah, we're that much into it!! haa haa
So if you don't have any plans for Christmas this year, stop by!! :D
xoxo

Our Reception
This is the first chance we have had to post on here since the reception, phew! We have been going a mile a minute in every direction since our wonderful day and are finally getting back to normal =)
When we found Hemenway Park four months ago (thanks to David's mom!) we knew that was the place we wanted to have the reception. With Lake Mead in the background, wild Big Horn Sheep (Nevada's native animal) roaming around, a play area for the kids, and big, beautiful shade trees, we knew it was going to be perfect! It really brought together what we had in mind for our reception: a relaxed, fun, and natural atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for more than what we found at Hemenway Park.
Despite getting off to a late start, the day went perfect and was everything we had imagined it would be. Those who attended truly made our day special and we thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on our day!

Where do I start?
What a nifty little concept, this blog site! David and I are delighted we have found a way to communicate to everyone and keep them posted about us! We have friends and family from so many different areas that its nice to be able to stay in touch through one simple page. Thank you Brandee for putting us in touch with this site ;). For the most part, I am sure I will be the one having to update this page but every once in awhile I will make David get on here and say 'hi'.
Our most current event going on right now is our reception. It's in three days! We are very excited! We have planned this for months and many many hours. Everything is coming together so nicely that I am sure the reception will run smooth, but I am keeping my fingers crossed just to be safe!! I am most excited to see everyone and be able to hang out with our family and friends. Which reminds me...maybe I should be working on reception stuff instead of hanging out on the internet lol.

Also, today our good friends Justin and Rochele welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world. David and I send them a great big congrats!! I can't wait to meet him!!
